CAFA's Critical Conversations at London Climate Action Week


London Climate Action Week took place on 26th June through to Friday 2nd July and we held a series of live interviews with a variety of organisations who are a part of the CAFA Collective.


During each event we discussed steps associations are taking to reduce emissions internally as well as the great work they are doing to support the transition of their industry and/or professions.

Event 1 - 29th June, 10:30-11:00am BST

We explore the role of internal audit in relation to organisational climate risk and how the Chartered IIA are using the CAFA resources to engage with council and take practical climate action.

Ben talks about the critical role of HR and the people profession in an organisations response to the climate emergency. From strategic workforce planning, data and analytics to employee engagement and behaviour change, HR sits at the heart of the solution.

Susan shares the role charity retail play in the circular economy and the vision that by 2030 consumers put reused/preloved first. Susan also shares the initial steps the CRA is considering to get started on their climate plans.
