London, UK - November 13, 2025 - Climate Action for Associations (CAFA) is pleased to welcome the British Pest Control Association (BPCA), the leading not-for-profit trade body representing the UK public-health pest-management industry, to its Collective.
BPCA represents more than 700 member companies across the UK that provide professional pest-control services to both commercial and residential clients. The association ensures its members are trained, insured and audited to the BS EN 16636 Standard for Pest Management, and that they adhere to codes of best practice developed for the sector.
Why this partnership matters
Pest-management organisations play a critical role in public-health infrastructure, facility hygiene and environmental stewardship. At the same time, the sector faces sustainability challenges including chemical-use impacts, equipment emissions, waste-management, supply-chain traceability and professional-development practices. BPCA is already committed to raising standards and professionalising the industry; joining CAFA brings a new opportunity to align these efforts with sustainability principles.
Collaborating for climate action
By joining CAFA, BPCA gains access to peer-learning networks, practical toolkits and cross-sector dialogue on topics such as net-zero strategy development and Scope 3 emissions measurement. For BPCA members, this integration opens doors to embedding sustainability at the heart of operational and service-delivery models, helping pest-management businesses address climate and nature related imperatives. Together, CAFA and BPCA will advance the industry’s voice in climate action and help secure a low-carbon, resilient future for pest-control professionals and their clients.
“We’re pleased to join Climate Action for Associations. Many of our members are already thinking hard about how to prepare for the changes ahead, and we have a responsibility to help them navigate what net zero and wider sustainability requirements will mean in practice. Being part of CAFA gives us access to specialist insight we can pass on to members, and it means we can play our part in sharing good practice across the sector". Rosina Robson, CEO at the British Pest Control Association
