London Climate Action Week is a pivotal moment in the annual climate and sustainability calendar. LCAW brings together climate advocates, sustainability experts, policymakers, and many other stakeholders and groups (estimated 75,000 people) who will be participating in 750 independent climate events.

LCAW 2026 may matter even more than previous editions, as this year is pivotal for climate:

- 1.5°C is being breached this decade

- yet the building blocks for net zero are stacking faster than ever (see climate updates below), and progress is accelerating.

From standards to technology; from the business case to international cooperation; from climate risk increasing to solutions accelerating - 2026 is the seeing change and movement in all directions when it comes to climate, fossil fuel use and GHG emissions.

LCAW will likely be central to make this year a success from a climate perspective - as one of the bridges between COPs, it convenes many stakeholders to move a range of conversations forward, and CAFA will be one of them.

Celebrating our 5th anniversary, and 5th Climate Week, the team at CAFA are looking forward to participating in a number of events and activities.

If you are attending or in London next week get in touch or you’ll find the team at the below events. Please don’t be shy, come say hello and learn about our work supporting membership organisations to accelerate action corporately and with their members.
