We are pleased to announce that the Provision Trade Federation (PTF) has joined the CAFA Collective.
PTF's members manufacture and trade in a variety of protein-based products, including dairy and meat. Additionally, as part of the UK Seafood Industry Alliance, PTF also represents the fish processing sector.
Collectively, PTF’s sectors account for approximately 21% of total UK household food expenditure, amounting to nearly £24 billion annually.
In 2021, PTF published its Sustainability Manifesto, "Changing for Good," which explored the challenges faced by our food system in light of climate change. This important document outlines seven key aims that PTF members are committed to supporting.
On joining CAFA, PTF Director General Rod Addy remarked,
“PTF is committed to minimising our climate impact, and becoming a CAFA member helps us and our members pursue that quest as we seek to lead the way on the journey to net zero.”
CAFA looks forward to working alongside PTF to advance climate action and drive meaningful change across food systems.
