London, UK - August 15, 2025 - Climate Action for Associations (CAFA) is excited to welcome BEAMA as a new member of the CAFA Collective. BEAMA is the UK trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastructure technologies and systems, representing more than 200 companies across areas such as electricity networks, cable management, low-carbon building solutions (heating, ventilation, water treatment), and electric transport/EV charging infrastructure. As a long-standing, trusted technical voice for the electrotechnical sector, BEAMA supports members on product safety, standards, policy and market transition across the UK’s accelerating electrification.
Why this partnership matters
By joining CAFA, BEAMA can share its strong policy and technical leadership with the CAFA collective, whilst also benefiting from CAFA's practical guidance and learning to support manufacturers facing growing sustainability requests from customers and regulators; help engaging with credible frameworks and shared approaches to tricky issues like supply-chain engagement for Scope 3. This collaboration complements BEAMA’s role across heating, ventilation, water treatment, cable management, networks and EV charging, linking standards and advocacy work with hands-on tools, templates and community support so members can act consistently and confidently on climate.
Collaborating for climate action
CAFA will work with BEAMA to support on common pain points (e.g., data comparability and supplier engagement), and align with relevant UK policy and standards activity, so manufacturers of all sizes can meet rising expectations while keeping focus on safety, performance and market growth. Together we’ll support BEAMA to embed practical climate action across products, infrastructure and the built environment.
"We're excited to join the CAFA Collective, reinforcing BEAMA's commitment to climate action and a sustainable economy. With our members leading the way in electrification and the shift to net zero, we're focused on accelerating electrification and the development of low-carbon energy systems. Collaborating with like-minded organisations allows us to amplify our impact." Tasha Lyth, Head of Net Zero at BEAMA
